Bengaluru FC made history in Indian football after winning 131st prestigious tournament Indian Oil Durand Cup, today at Saltlake Stadium in Kolkata by defeating another Indian Super League side Mumbai City FC by 2-1 scoreline. Bengaluru takes the win after a 90 minutes intense fight in Salt Lake pitch. Head Coach Simon Grayson wins his first trophy with the club in his first tournament in India. Hyderabad FC moves their another steps towards Durand Cup glory by defeating I-League side Rajasthan United by 3-1 scoreline in the last quarter final match today at Kishore Bharati Stadium, Kolkata. In the first quarter final match of ongoing Durand Cup 2022, Mohammedan SC defeated Kerala Blasters FC 3-0 at Saltlake stadium, Kolkata. The Black Panthers are the dominating side in the whole match. A 7 goal thriller match helps East Bengal to find their first win in the prestigious Durand Cup tournament. The first Derby match of the season comes to an end in favour of ATK Mohun Bagan as they won the match by 1-0 scoreline at Saltlake Stadium, Kolkata. East Bengal lacked in the final third passes in the attacking area through the whole match. After that young Indian forward Vikram Pratap Singh took back Mumbai City in the game in the added minutes of the first half. Then Greg Stewart scored a penalty and coach Des Buckingham took back Vikram from the field and out Chhangte in the position. And that's the match turning point.
