Currently ranked 139th in FIFA, the Indian team is going through some of the hard times in their international football. After failing to qualify for the AFC Asian Cup 2027, the Blue Tigers must look back and try to rebuild from scratch. The fans, who are less in numbers than cricket lovers, are busy criticising the players and the coaching staff. Even some seasonal fans who might only watch a few European football and world cup, are questioning why India isn't at the football’s biggest stage? Mizo Sniper Jeje announced his retirement

Jeje Lalpekhlua, one of the most popular football players in India, announced his retirement from professional football on 17th February, 2023. India announced squad for U20 Asian Cup Qualifiers

Indian U20 men's national football team head coach Shanmugam Venkatesh named 23 man squad ahead of u20 Asian Cup Qualifiers to be held in Kuwait. India placed in Group H along with Iran, Australia and Kuwait, whom will India play in 14, 16, 18th October respectively.  Pic - All India Football Federation website Coach said that the boys are motivated and confident about qualifying for next u20 Asian Cup 2023 to be held in Uzbekistan. Indian U17 Women's team suffers a huge defeat against USA in their first match of FIFA U17 Women's World Cup, here at Kalinga Stadium, Bhuvneshwar by a huge margin of 8-0. Indian team starts their world cup campaign with a defeat. And in 14th minute, USA finds their second goal from a corner kick, the goal scored by Taylor Suarez. The right flank of Indian defence looked some weak and India come up with a deep defending plan with 3-5-2 lineup against United States of America's women's u17 team which looks that the opponents come up with a better match planning than us. India, second time in it's history, ready to host FIFA U17 Women's WORLD CUP after their successful completion of FIFA U17 Men's World Cup in 2017. The tournament starts in October 11 at Fatorda Stadium, Goa. India suffers 3-0 defeat against Vietnam

Vietnam had the most of the possession on the ball in the first quarter. India's first chance came from a run made by Akash Mishra who found Ashique Kuruniyan in the box, but the later could not make a shot on target. And in 32 minute, Sahal Abdul Samad take a shot on target, it saved by goalkeeper. India beats Pakistan in SAFF Women's Championship

Indian Women's team defeated Pakistan by 3-0 scoreline in the opening match of  group stage of SAFF Women's Championship 2022 at Dasarath Stadium, Kathmandu, Nepal. Ex Indian footballer becomes new AIFF President

After FIFA revoked the on All India Football Federation, elections for new executive committee of AIFF were held yesterday at Football House, Delhi. Kalyan Chaubey, the ex Indian international and current BJP politician becomes the new president of All India Football Federation after beating another well known ex player Bhaichung Bhutia one sided election.
