USA takes an early leads in 9th minute of the match through, Rebimbas scored the first goal for them from a cross made from right-flank. And in 14th minute, USA finds their second goal from a corner kick, the goal scored by Taylor Suarez. The right flank of Indian defence looked some weak and India come up with a deep defending plan with 3-5-2 lineup against United States of America's women's u17 team which looks that the opponents come up with a better match planning than us.

Again in 23th minute, Indian team made another mistake, it cost another goal. This time goalscorer Gamero snatched the ball from India defender and scored a simple shot. Head Coach of Indian team Thomas Dennarby looks disappointed after this goal. Looks like he didn't expect that start of Indian women's teams first world cup campaign.

The player Rebimbas scored his second goal in 30th minute, from a half volley, making the difference 4-0 for USA and a memorable performance to start the tournament for them. The next goal scored before the half time, Thompson cuts-inn from the right flank takes a shot towards goal and increase the goal difference by 5-0.

The story remains same in the second half. USA scored more goals and India doesn't created a single chance. In 51,59,62 minutes USA scored goals.
Ella Emri, Suarez, Bhuta marked their names in the scoresheet as USA blow India by 8-0.

Indian defence purely exposed by this experienced USA side. Though Indian goalkeeper Anjali made some good save, otherwise the score will different. Another point is that the average height of Indian players are lesser than the opponents. So USA had a clear advantage on set-pices and they took that seriously on scoring some goals and on winning the second balls. They have the better physicality, skills, speed and possessions over the balls all of that in the whole match. Coach Thomas Dennarby has a difficult job to done to turn the performance of this team into positive results. India will play their next match against Morocco in 14th October at 8 pm.
