Indian Shot Stopper Sandesh Jhingan joins Bengaluru FC

The 29 year old Indian defender Sandesh Jhingan joins Bengaluru FC on a free transfer after he terminates his contract with his previous club ATK Mohun Bagan FC.

He is one of the best Indian defender as of now, and continuously played for Indian National Football Team. Ahead of the new season, there was rumours that he might join at a European club. Previously in 2021 he joined a Croatian club HNK Sibenik, but there he didn't get any game time and come back to ATK Mohun Bagan in the mid-season. But ahead of the new season he was not in the list of ATK Mohun Bagan head coach Juan Ferrando. So he leaves ATK Mohun Bagan and joins Bengaluru FC with his fellow teammates Roy Krishna and Prabir Das. He has also high paying offers from East Bengal, but the player choose Bengaluru.
