Argentina vs Australia - Round of 16 of FIFA World Cup

The Copa America Champions Argentina qualified for knockout stages despite the loss against Saudi Arabia in their opening game. They topped the Group C after defeating Poland and Mexico in their remaining matches. Their star player Lionel Messi already missed 2 penalty shootout.

On the other side, Australians have qualified for Round of 16 after some hard fought win against Tunisia and Denmark. The Socceroos will have to defend Messi's Argentina which is  a difficult job for them. The experience which La Selección's have that will be the difference is the result of this match.

Kalyan Chaubey, the ex Indian international and current BJP politician becomes the new president of All India Football Federation after beating another well known ex player Bhaichung Bhutia one sided election.
