India announced squad for U20 Asian Cup Qualifiers

Indian U20 men's national football team head coach Shanmugam Venkatesh named 23 man squad ahead of u20 Asian Cup Qualifiers to be held in Kuwait. India placed in Group H along with Iran, Australia and Kuwait, whom will India play in 14, 16, 18th October respectively.

Coach said that the boys are motivated and confident about qualifying for next u20 Asian Cup 2023 to be held in Uzbekistan. The players are training in Bhuvneshwar for some days before travelling to Kuwait. 

The squad is as follow :- 

Goalkeepers : Zahid Hussain Bukhari, Som Kumar, Dipesh Chauhan.

Defenders : Leewan Castanha, Amandeep,
Abhishek Singh Tekcham, Sajad Hussain Parray, Halen Nongtdu, Brijesh Giri, Bikash Yumnam, Raj Basfore.

Midfielders : Vibin Mohanan, Taison Singh Loitongbam, Harsh Shailesh Patre, Sibajit Leimapokpam, Vinay Harji, Shreyas Ketkar, Maheson Singh Tongbram, Aphaoba Singh.

Forwards : Macarton Louis Nickson, Himanshu Jangra, Gurkirat Singh, Suhail Ahmad Bhat.
