Former East Bengal player joins I-League team

Ex player of Kolkata Giants East Bengal and Mohun Bagan, 32 year old Raju Gaikwad joins I-League side Churchill Brothers FC on a two year deal as per reports.

The player started his football career Indian Arrows in 2010, primarily plays as a centre back but also able to play as a full back, is a well known name in Kolkata football. In 2011, he moved to East Bengal where he won Federation Cup, IFA Shield and Calcutta Football League 4 times in his 4 years stint with the club. 

Also played for various Indian Super League side including FC Goa, Mumbai City, Jamshedpur FC, Kerala Blasters FC and for Mohun Bagan 2016-17 on loan, and won the Federation Cup 2015-16 with the Mariners. Last season he played for Red and Gold brigade East Bengal, where he is on the field for 19 matches throughout the season. Previously he also played for Indian u23 and senior football team. This year, having no interests from ISL clubs he finally decided his future path with Churchill Brothers.

East Bengal signing update

The 26 year old Indian goalkeeper Kamaljit Singh signs for Emami East Bengal from Odisha FC. East Bengal pays the transfer fees for him. He will be the first choice goalkeeper of East Bengal for the upcoming Indian Super League season.  pic - Kamaljit Singh East Bengal set to sign 27 year old Indian forward Sumeet Passi from Roundglass Punjab FC. Netherlands vs United States - Round of 16 of FIFA World Cup

After missing the 2018 edition of world cup, this time in Qatar, Netherlands started their campaign with two wins against Qatar and Senegal and one draw against Equador. With 7 points on their name, they topped the Group A and enters the next phase of the tournament as table toppers. 23 years old PSV striker Cody Gapko scored three goals in group stages for them and he's already a hero for the Oranjes. India, second time in it's history, ready to host FIFA U17 Women's WORLD CUP after their successful completion of FIFA U17 Men's World Cup in 2017. The tournament starts in October 11 at Fatorda Stadium, Goa. Northeast United are bagging players for upcoming ISL

Indian Super League side Northeast United recently announced many players signing including foreigners and Indian players for the upcoming ISL season. They already made four foreign signing.
