Indian Women's U17 team for FIFA U17 Women's WORLD CUP

India, second time in it's history, ready to host FIFA U17 Women's WORLD CUP after their successful completion of FIFA U17 Men's World Cup in 2017. The tournament starts in October 11 at Fatorda Stadium, Goa. Indian team ready for another FIFA competition with some numerous numbers of young women players accross the country.

Danish Head Coach Thomas Dennarby announced 21 members for this prestigious world cup tournament. The matches will be played 3 different venues in the country, (Bhuvneshwar, Goa and Mumbai). Recent Indian u17 women's team played some friendly matches in an exposure tour in Spain. The young Blue Tigresses are ready to take on the world giants in the field. 

Indian team will start their journey against USA in October 11 at Kalinga Stadium, Bhuvneshwar in 8 pm IST. Coach Thomas Dennarby confident that Indian team will deliver a good performance and will go in the knockout stage. Morocco and Brazil are the other opponents in the group, whom India will play next in 14 and 17th October respectively. 

The Squad is :- 

GOALKEEPERS :- Monalisha Devi Moirangthem, Melody Chanu Keisham, Anjali Munda.

DEFENDERS :- Astam Oraon, Kajal, Naketa,  Purnima Kumari,  Varshika, Shilky Devi Hemam.

MIDFIELDERS :- Babina Devi Lisham, Nitu Linda, Shailja, Shubhangi Singh.

FORWARDS :- Anita Kumari, Lynda Kom Serto, Neha, Rejiya Devi Laishram, Shelia Devi Loktongbam, Kajol Hubert Dsouza, Lavanya Upadhyay, Sudha Ankita Tirkey.
