Indian Women's U17 team for FIFA U17 Women's WORLD CUP

India, second time in it's history, ready to host FIFA U17 Women's WORLD CUP after their successful completion of FIFA U17 Men's World Cup in 2017. The tournament starts in October 11 at Fatorda Stadium, Goa. Indian team ready for another FIFA competition with some numerous numbers of young women players accross the country.

Danish Head Coach Thomas Dennarby announced 21 members for this prestigious world cup tournament. The matches will be played 3 different venues in the country, (Bhuvneshwar, Goa and Mumbai). Recent Indian u17 women's team played some friendly matches in an exposure tour in Spain. The young Blue Tigresses are ready to take on the world giants in the field. 

Indian team will start their journey against USA in October 11 at Kalinga Stadium, Bhuvneshwar in 8 pm IST. Coach Thomas Dennarby confident that Indian team will deliver a good performance and will go in the knockout stage. Morocco and Brazil are the other opponents in the group, whom India will play next in 14 and 17th October respectively.

Indian U20 men's national football team head coach Shanmugam Venkatesh named 23 man squad ahead of u20 Asian Cup Qualifiers to be held in Kuwait. India placed in Group H along with Iran, Australia and Kuwait, whom will India play in 14, 16, 18th October respectively.  Pic - All India Football Federation website Coach said that the boys are motivated and confident about qualifying for next u20 Asian Cup 2023 to be held in Uzbekistan. Mizo Sniper Jeje announced his retirement

Jeje Lalpekhlua, one of the most popular football players in India, announced his retirement from professional football on 17th February, 2023. Hero I-League, the second tier of Indian football structure, will start from 12th November onwards with 12 teams accross the country. Kerala Blasters defeated East Bengal by 3-1 in the inaugural opening match of 2022-23 Hero Indian Super League at The Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kochi today. Ivan Kalyuzhnyi, the Ukrainian star scored a brace in his ISL debut, gives Kerala Blasters the win they need in the first match of the season. Former Mohun Bagan star midfielder Joseba Beitia has joined I-League outfit Rajasthan United for the upcoming season. After playing for several low division clubs in his country like Real Sociedad B, Somozas, Marbella etc, he came to India in 2019 as a Mohun Bagan player.
