Mohammedan SC announces their squad for the upcoming season

Kolkata based I-League side Mohammedan SC announced their squad for the upcoming football season. Head Coach Andrey Chernyshov named 27 men squad ahead of the new season.

Hyderabad FC makes Five match unbeaten run after defeating Jamshedpur FC

Hyderabad FC defeated The Red Miners Jamshedpur FC by 1-0 score at Tata Sports Complex, in Jamshedpur today. Through this, the Nizam's made 5 match unbeaten run in this Hero Indian Super League season keeping Five clean sheets, which is the most by any team this season. A decent run by Manolo Marquez's boys to start the tournament and the thought to keep the title again in Hyderabad for second straight year. Indian Women's team defeated Pakistan by 3-0 scoreline in the opening match of  group stage of SAFF Women's Championship 2022 at Dasarath Stadium, Kathmandu, Nepal. India starts their SAFF Championship campaign with a win. pic - Indian Football Team social media In 20th minute, Indian player Sandhiya sends a cross and it goes to goal by touching defender Maria Khan- captain of Pakistan Women's team. Again after only 3 minutes, Anju place a final pass to Dangmei Grace - who sends the ball in the net by a simple touch. Now India's second tier football tournament Hero I-League is going in full swing with 12 clubs across multiple venues in the country. As per previous reports, this year's I-League Champions will get a direct spot in next year's Indian Super League on fulfilling the  licensing criteria . Let's see which team tops the league table for now and which other teams in top 4 of the table are on the run to snatch that position. Currently Sreenidi Deccan is the table toppers with 19 points on their name, they won 6 games, drew one and lost two. Their performance is super delight from last season. Northeast United announces the signing of young Indian midfielder

Northeast United FC announced the signing of ex Gokulam Kerala FC midfielder Emil Benny for the upcoming ISL season. The 21 year old Indian midfielder played a vital role in Gokulam Kerala's I-League winning campaign.  pic - Emil Benny ( Google ) The young midfielder can play the role of attacking midfielder and has very skill in box-to-box situation. He already won I-League two times with Gokulam Kerala FC. And in 2020-21, he awarded as the emerging player of the season for his standout performance. He also included in 2020-21 I-League team of the season. He played total 32 matches for Gokulam Kerala and scored 4 goals for them. The malabarian also played in 2022 AFC Cup group stage matches for his previous club.  Marco Bulbul, the man from Israel will lead the highlanders in the upcoming Indian Super League.

Mohammadan SC through semifinals of Durand Cup after winning Quarter Final

In the first quarter final match of ongoing Durand Cup 2022, Mohammedan SC defeated Kerala Blasters FC 3-0 at Saltlake stadium, Kolkata. The Black Panthers are the dominating side in the whole match. The hero of the match is Abiola Dauda - the new foreign striker of Mohammedan SC who introduces himself to Indian football by scoring 2 goals in his debut game.  pic - Durand Cup social media The first goal of the match came in 17th minute when Marcus Joseph put a cross and Sk Faiaz place the ball through the net. Next in 59th minute Dauda scored his first goal, assist by Sk Faiaz. After that Kerala Blasters had a free kick, but couldn't capitalise it to a goal. And again in 84th minute Dauda scored a magnificient goal from Ambekar's cross. Abiola Dauda came, conquered and put Mohammedan SC in semifinal. Bengaluru FC book their spots in final of prestigious ongoing tournament Durand Cup 2022 by defeating another ISL side Hyderabad FC 1-0 in today's semifinal match at Saltlake Stadium, Kolkata.  Pic - Durand Cup social media Ogbeche once got one vs one situation in 8th minute, made a powerful shot but Bengaluru goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu made a good save. In the next minute, Roy Krishna had a chance, release a shot, it also saved by Hyderabad goalkeeper Anuj Kumar.
