Rajasthan United beats mighty ATK Mohun Bagan

I-League side Rajasthan United past ATK Mohun Bagan by 3-2 scoreline at Saltlake stadium, Kolkata. ATK Mohun Bagan, the biggest name in Indian football, suffers defeat in their opening match in Durand Cup.

Rajasthan United made Durand Cup debut in style and defend well in the whole match against ATK Mohun Bagan. Other side, ATK Mohun Bagan lacks of final passes on the field, failed to score many goals. Manvir, Kiyan , Ashish all misses plenty of simple chances. 

The first goal came in 43 minute, scored by youngster Kiyan, but only after a few minutes, Amangeldiev scored the equaliser for Rajasthan. In the start of the second half, again ATK Mohun Bagan strike again in 46 minute, this time it was Ashique Kuruniyan. Joni Kauko gives him a small pass and he hit the ball in the net. But again in the 61 minute, Rajasthan scored the equaliser, goal scored by Remsanga from corner-kick. But the drama not ends here , Rajasthan managed to score a goal in the extra time, this time Nikum is the man who gives Rajasthan United a win in their Durand Cup debut match. Also ATK Mohun Bagan head coach, Juan Ferrando was shown  a yellow card in the second half.

Indian Shot Stopper Sandesh Jhingan joins Bengaluru FC

The 29 year old Indian defender Sandesh Jhingan joins Bengaluru FC on a free transfer after he terminates his contract with his previous club ATK Mohun Bagan FC.  pic - Sandesh Jhingan He is one of the best Indian defender as of now, and continuously played for Indian National Football Team. Ahead of the new season, there was rumours that he might join at a European club. Mohammadan SC through semifinals of Durand Cup after winning Quarter Final

In the first quarter final match of ongoing Durand Cup 2022, Mohammedan SC defeated Kerala Blasters FC 3-0 at Saltlake stadium, Kolkata. The Black Panthers are the dominating side in the whole match. Jamshedpur FC signs Indian midfielder Germanpreet Singh

 Pic - Germanpreet Singh Indian Super League side Jamshedpur FC roped in Indian midfielder Germanpreet Singh for the upcoming ISL season. The midfielder is a graduate of AIFF Academy and joins the red miners from Chennaiyin FC ahead of new season. The midfielder started his career at Dempo and then move to Minerva Punjab in 2017. Later that year he joined Chennaiyin FC. During his time at Chennaiyin FC, he played 55 matches for the club and scored one goal also. He also played for India u19 and u23 side and made his debut for senior national team in 2016, in a game against Thailand.
