Bengaluru FC mark their spots in Durand Cup Final

Bengaluru FC book their spots in final of prestigious ongoing tournament Durand Cup 2022 by defeating another ISL side Hyderabad FC 1-0 in today's semifinal match at Saltlake Stadium, Kolkata.

Ogbeche once got one vs one situation in 8th minute, made a powerful shot but Bengaluru goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu made a good save. In the next minute, Roy Krishna had a chance, release a shot, it also saved by Hyderabad goalkeeper Anuj Kumar. But Bengaluru takes the lead in 33th minute, when Prabir Das place a cross in Hyderabad box and Zabala's own goal put down Hyderabad in the game.  
Yet another time in the first minutes of second half Ogbeche once again mada a strong header towards goalpost but yet again Gurpreet made the save to keep Bengaluru ahead in the match. Hyderabad FC had most ball possessions in today's game but Bengaluru after taking the lead in the first half had done deep defending. Referee showed yellow card to Hyderabad coach Manolo for arguing with him and young left back Naorem Roshan Singh for time wasting. Again in extra time Hyderabad had a free kick at the edge of the box of Bengaluru and yet again they failed to score goal. 

Bengaluru FC will face Mumbai City FC in Durand Cup final match in 18th September at Saltlake Stadium, Kolkata. Hyderabad FC finally ends their Durand Cup journey.
