East Bengal past Northeast United by 3-1 scoreline

East Bengal defeated Northeast United FC on their third match of Hero Indian Super League and found their first win this season after two matches beaten setback. The scoreline was 3-1, when Stefan Constantine's Red and Gold brigade outplayed the boys of Northeast at Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, Guwahati on Thursday. Charalambos Kyriakou selected for the Man of the match for his standout performance throughout the game. Gokulam Kerala signs Afgan Midfielder for Upcoming season

I-League Champions Gokulam Kerala recently signed an foreign midfielder for the upcoming season. Farshad Noor, the player from Afghanistan will join the Malabarians to bolster the squad in their second consecutive I-League campaign. Pic - Farshad Noor ( Google) He started his football career at PSV youth academy and played for various European clubs including Jong PSV, Roda JC Kerkrade, AFC Eskilstuna etc, and for Indonesian club Persib Bandung in Liga 1. Last season he played for a Baharini club  Al-Hala SC.  His most successful stint was for Nea Salamis where he scored 6 goals in 59 matches. In his early days he was in Netherlands u17 team and recently played against India in Asian Cup Qualifiers for the Afghanistan national team. He displayed a brilliant performance against India on that match. 

Former East Bengal player joins I-League team

Ex player of Kolkata Giants East Bengal and Mohun Bagan, 32 year old Raju Gaikwad joins I-League side Churchill Brothers FC on a two year deal as per reports.  Pic - Raju Gaikwad ( Google ) The player started his football career Indian Arrows in 2010, primarily plays as a centre back but also able to play as a full back, is a well known name in Kolkata football. In 2011, he moved to East Bengal where he won Federation Cup, IFA Shield and Calcutta Football League 4 times in his 4 years stint with the club.  Also played for various Indian Super League side including FC Goa, Mumbai City, Jamshedpur FC, Kerala Blasters FC and for Mohun Bagan 2016-17 on loan, and won the Federation Cup 2015-16 with the Mariners. India announced squad for U20 Asian Cup Qualifiers

Indian U20 men's national football team head coach Shanmugam Venkatesh named 23 man squad ahead of u20 Asian Cup Qualifiers to be held in Kuwait. India placed in Group H along with Iran, Australia and Kuwait, whom will India play in 14, 16, 18th October respectively.  Pic - All India Football Federation website Coach said that the boys are motivated and confident about qualifying for next u20 Asian Cup 2023 to be held in Uzbekistan. India go down against USA in FIFA U17 Women's World Cup opening

Indian U17 Women's team suffers a huge defeat against USA in their first match of FIFA U17 Women's World Cup, here at Kalinga Stadium, Bhuvneshwar by a huge margin of 8-0. Indian team starts their world cup campaign with a defeat. And in 14th minute, USA finds their second goal from a corner kick, the goal scored by Taylor Suarez. The right flank of Indian defence looked some weak and India come up with a deep defending plan with 3-5-2 lineup against United States of America's women's u17 team which looks that the opponents come up with a better match planning than us. Bengaluru FC wins their first match of ISL 2022-23

Bengaluru tastes win in their first match of Hero ISL 2022-23 season, by defeating Northeast United FC 1-0 in Kantiveera Stadium, Bangalore. Kerala Blasters past East Bengal by 3-1 in ISL opener

Kerala Blasters defeated East Bengal by 3-1 in the inaugural opening match of 2022-23 Hero Indian Super League at The Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kochi today. Ivan Kalyuzhnyi, the Ukrainian star scored a brace in his ISL debut, gives Kerala Blasters the win they need in the first match of the season. Indian Football signed MoU with Saudi Arabia

Recently, Indian Football Federation signed a MoU contract with Saudi Arabian Football Federation where president Kalyan Chaubey and secretary general Shaji Pravakaran were present. They also meet the Indian u17 team which playing in the AFC u17 Asian Cup qualifiers there.  Pic - Indian football social media According this MoU, next the upcoming Santosh Trophy final round will be payed in Saudi Arabia and the u17, u19 teams from both countries will play each other twice in a year. Alongside this, India ranking in FIFA stepped down by 2 level. India, second time in it's history, ready to host FIFA U17 Women's WORLD CUP after their successful completion of FIFA U17 Men's World Cup in 2017. The tournament starts in October 11 at Fatorda Stadium, Goa.
