English Forward Jay Emmanuel Thomas signs for an Indian Super League side

Jamshedpur FC announced the signing of English forward Jay Emmanuel Thomas on a two years deal that will keep him in the club until 2024 season.

The player is a product of Arsenal Academy and a versatile player, can play as a winger or even as a striker. Jay Emmanuel Thomas played in various English club like Arsenal, Blackpool, Cardiff City etc. He also played for some Scottish Championship club like Aberdeen , Livingston. His most successful stint was to play for Bristol City in 2013-15, where he played 82 matches and scored 24 goals. Most recently he played for Scottish Championship club Aberdeen , where he played 15 matches.

The 26 year old Indian goalkeeper Kamaljit Singh signs for Emami East Bengal from Odisha FC. East Bengal pays the transfer fees for him. Ex player of Kolkata Giants East Bengal and Mohun Bagan, 32 year old Raju Gaikwad joins I-League side Churchill Brothers FC on a two year deal as per reports.  Pic - Raju Gaikwad ( Google ) The player started his football career Indian Arrows in 2010, primarily plays as a centre back but also able to play as a full back, is a well known name in Kolkata football. In 2011, he moved to East Bengal where he won Federation Cup, IFA Shield and Calcutta Football League 4 times in his 4 years stint with the club.  Also played for various Indian Super League side including FC Goa, Mumbai City, Jamshedpur FC, Kerala Blasters FC and for Mohun Bagan 2016-17 on loan, and won the Federation Cup 2015-16 with the Mariners. After missing the 2018 edition of world cup, this time in Qatar, Netherlands started their campaign with two wins against Qatar and Senegal and one draw against Equador.
