Hyderabad FC defeated The Red Miners Jamshedpur FC by 1-0 score at Tata Sports Complex, in Jamshedpur today. Through this, the Nizam's made 5 match unbeaten run in this Hero Indian Super League season keeping Five clean sheets, which is the most by any team this season. A decent run by Manolo Marquez's boys to start the tournament and the thought to keep the title again in Hyderabad for second straight year. Indian Women's team defeated Pakistan by 3-0 scoreline in the opening match of  group stage of SAFF Women's Championship 2022 at Dasarath Stadium, Kathmandu, Nepal. India starts their SAFF Championship campaign with a win. pic - Indian Football Team social media In 20th minute, Indian player Sandhiya sends a cross and it goes to goal by touching defender Maria Khan- captain of Pakistan Women's team. Again after only 3 minutes, Anju place a final pass to Dangmei Grace - who sends the ball in the net by a simple touch. Now India's second tier football tournament Hero I-League is going in full swing with 12 clubs across multiple venues in the country. As per previous reports, this year's I-League Champions will get a direct spot in next year's Indian Super League on fulfilling the  licensing criteria . Let's see which team tops the league table for now and which other teams in top 4 of the table are on the run to snatch that position. Currently Sreenidi Deccan is the table toppers with 19 points on their name, they won 6 games, drew one and lost two. Their performance is super delight from last season. Northeast United FC announced the signing of ex Gokulam Kerala FC midfielder Emil Benny for the upcoming ISL season. He already won I-League two times with Gokulam Kerala FC. And in 2020-21, he awarded as the emerging player of the season for his standout performance. Mohammadan SC through semifinals of Durand Cup after winning Quarter Final

In the first quarter final match of ongoing Durand Cup 2022, Mohammedan SC defeated Kerala Blasters FC 3-0 at Saltlake stadium, Kolkata. The Black Panthers are the dominating side in the whole match. The hero of the match is Abiola Dauda - the new foreign striker of Mohammedan SC who introduces himself to Indian football by scoring 2 goals in his debut game.  pic - Durand Cup social media The first goal of the match came in 17th minute when Marcus Joseph put a cross and Sk Faiaz place the ball through the net. Next in 59th minute Dauda scored his first goal, assist by Sk Faiaz. After that Kerala Blasters had a free kick, but couldn't capitalise it to a goal. And again in 84th minute Dauda scored a magnificient goal from Ambekar's cross. Abiola Dauda came, conquered and put Mohammedan SC in semifinal. Indian U20 men's national football team head coach Shanmugam Venkatesh named 23 man squad ahead of u20 Asian Cup Qualifiers to be held in Kuwait. India placed in Group H along with Iran, Australia and Kuwait, whom will India play in 14, 16, 18th October respectively.  Pic - All India Football Federation website Coach said that the boys are motivated and confident about qualifying for next u20 Asian Cup 2023 to be held in Uzbekistan. Hero I-League, the second tier of Indian football structure, will start from 12th November onwards with 12 teams accross the country. The new 2022-23 season will be the most interesting and a game changer for the future of Indian football development.  Pic The 12 clubs will fight for the I-League glory, as the champions of this season will get a direct spot in Indian Super League 2023-24, on the basis of fulfilling sporting merit and clearing the Premier 1 Licensing criteria. Also, last two teams will get relegated to I-League second division and top two teams from I-League second division will get promoted to I-League 2023-24.
