FIFA suspends All India Football Federation

The Bureau of the FIFA Council has unanimously decided to suspend the All India Football Federation (AIFF) with immediate effect due to undue influence from third parties, which constitutes a serious violation of the FIFA Statutes.

The suspension will be lifted once an order to set up a committee of administrators to assume the powers of the AIFF Executive Committee has been repealed and the AIFF administration regains full control of the AIFF's daily affairs.

This means that India won't be able to play any international match both of men , women's and youth categories. And India won't be able to host the u17 women's World Cup this year.

The Indian Super League and other domestic tournaments will continue as scheduled.

But on the other hand, Indian clubs won't be able to participate in the AFC Champions League and AFC Cup until the ban is removed!

The 29 year old Indian defender Sandesh Jhingan joins Bengaluru FC on a free transfer after he terminates his contract with his previous club ATK Mohun Bagan FC.  pic - Sandesh Jhingan He is one of the best Indian defender as of now, and continuously played for Indian National Football Team. Ahead of the new season, there was rumours that he might join at a European club. Mohammadan SC through semifinals of Durand Cup after winning Quarter Final

In the first quarter final match of ongoing Durand Cup 2022, Mohammedan SC defeated Kerala Blasters FC 3-0 at Saltlake stadium, Kolkata. The Black Panthers are the dominating side in the whole match. Jamshedpur FC signs Indian midfielder Germanpreet Singh

 Pic - Germanpreet Singh Indian Super League side Jamshedpur FC roped in Indian midfielder Germanpreet Singh for the upcoming ISL season. The midfielder is a graduate of AIFF Academy and joins the red miners from Chennaiyin FC ahead of new season. The midfielder started his career at Dempo and then move to Minerva Punjab in 2017. Later that year he joined Chennaiyin FC. During his time at Chennaiyin FC, he played 55 matches for the club and scored one goal also. He also played for India u19 and u23 side and made his debut for senior national team in 2016, in a game against Thailand.
