East Bengal is interested in an Australian midfielder

Indian Super League side Emami East Bengal set to announce the signing of 24 year old Australian midfielder Jordan O'Doherty. Head Coach Stephen Constantine wants him in his team for the upcoming ISL season.

The player Jordan, started his career at Adelaide Riders. Later he played for Adelaide United, Western Sidney Wanderers. Last year he played for Newcastle Jets in A-League. 

The player primarily plays as an defensive midfielder or even as a central midfielder. He can be a good signing for East Bengal this year. He will be the Asian quota signing of the team. He also played for Australian u-23 team, where he played 2 matches.

Hero I-League, the second tier of Indian football structure, will start from 12th November onwards with 12 teams accross the country.
